New Art Director at Scholastic Parent & Child
Carolyn Veith Krienke has been named art director at Scholastic Parent & Child magazine where she will report to Nick Friedman, editor-in-chief.
Veith Krienke joins Scholastic Parent & Child from Martha Stewart Weddings, where she served as senior art director since 2009. Previously, she was a senior designer with Real Simple magazine.
“We are delighted to welcome Carolyn to the Scholastic Parent & Child team,” says Friedman. “Her creative vision, bringing brighter pages and stronger imagery to the magazine, results in a playful yet sophisticated publication for today’s modern mom.”
Veith Krienke’s work will debut in the February 2012 issue, which features actress Katherine Heigl on the cover.
