Strike a Pose: HuffPo Launches a Style Vertical

huffstyle.png

We’ve been hearing rumors of this for a week or so, and can now confirm that the Huffington Post has just to added a new style vertical to its website. We are told the Style Section that it will differ from HuffPo’s living section in so far as it will “be about style, sex, and social trends,” but of the more “off beat” variety, and not so much the “how to improve communication with your spouse,” relationship pieces.

We took a quick peek, and while Style senior editor Anya Strzemien tells us it’s still in the final stages of being smoothed out, here’s a sampling of what you’ll see: “How Much Sex is Enough?”; “Street Style And The Internet’s It Girls”; “Tatoos and the Need to Stand Out”; and our personal favorite, “Frizzy Is The New Fabulous.” Plus we think we spotted a Q&A with Hal Rubenstein in there along with an homage to Claudette Colbert.
