The New York Times Launches First Country-Specific Site

The New York Times has launched its first country-specific site, India Ink. The site will boast coverage from 21 writers based in India, and cover “the Ram Lila grounds in Delhi to the boardrooms of Silicon Valley, tracking the triumphs and frustrations of daily desi life and the changes sweeping the nation.”

The site also has a Twitter account (@NYTIndia) and asks that people email the staffers at IndiaInk[at]nytimes[dot]com if they have something that they think should be featured.
