FishbowlNY is hearing there were a number of layoffs at Budget Travel last week. A spokesperson for the company would only confirm "minor staff reductions" had been announced internally and that the reductions were "part of the company's plan to control costs and restructure the business to better position the magazine for growth."

However FBNY has heard from more than one source that the layoffs included may have included as many as 10 people including a number of senior editors, an Ad Director, and several other high level positions. If you have any further details we'd love to hear them.
