Overlooked in the barrage of nerd-bent one-liners and Prince-gawking at the Webby Awards Monday night was host Rob Corddry's admission he may not be able continue on the Daily Show now that his pilot, The Winner, produced by Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, has been picked up by Fox. "It's not clear whether I'll have time," Corddry told the audience before setting up a You Tube-quality clip.

A spokesperson for the show told FishbowlNY that while they were not aware of Corddry's comment or his pilot's status, they were hopeful that Corddry would be able to make time for the show. "[Ex-Daily Show star] Steve Carell would come in and tape five or six reports whenever he was in New York, and they'd be spread out on the show," the spokesperson said. "But this show is a magnet for talent, so its not surprising when a guy as talented as Rob gets picked off."
