We caught the tail end of Al Roker's interview with Star Jones on Today today, and Jones — at least on the surface — appeared to be in hatchet-burying mode, saying she was grateful for the opportunity View co-host and executive producer Barbara Walters gave her, and that Walters would always be held close to "my heart." Of course, this was not how she appeared yesterday.

Today producers — always suckers for synergy — followed up that segment with an expert on female relationships and backstabbing.
