Twitter Worth Almost Double The New York Times

Twitter, with its latest round of funding, is now worth $3.7 billion, almost double than that of the New York Times, which is valued at $2 billion. These numbers aren’t set in stone, as the value of the Times is based on public stock and Twitter is privately funded, but no matter what, the storm clouds just keep increasing around the paper.

All we can think of now is that in the years to come, funds supporting excellent journalism will fade away, while money supporting Ashton Kutcher broadcasting pictures of himself and his wife Demi Moore looking like anti-American propaganda will be plentiful.

The world is a scary, dark, and creepy place.
