Veteran Communications Exec Departs News Corp.

Teri Everett, News Corporation’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Communications, is leaving the company after 12 years. Everett started with News Corp. in 200o, directing its Los Angeles communications. She has been in her current position since 2009.

“News Corp. executives are a peerless group and I will miss them immensely,” said Everett. “I will always be grateful to Rupert and Chase for their support over the years and am thrilled that Julie will be succeeding me. While it may be a tired cliche, I am ready for something new.”

Julie Henderson is succeeding Everett, whose last day is February 10. Henderson’s title will be Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Chief Communications Officer.
