WABC-AM Hires Editor Jason Mattera for Sunday Show

Jason Mattera is joining WABC-AM for weekly show starting this Sunday from 4-6 p.m.

Mattera, 27, is the youngest editor of a national periodical, Human Events. He also is the author of The New York Times bestseller, Obama Zombies: How the Liberal Machine Brainwashed My Generation.

A Brooklyn native, Mattera has been a guest host on WABC since June and has been a guest on Imus in the Morning as well as the Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Bob Grant, and Mancow radio shows.

“Our listeners have embraced Jason’s political acumen, mischievous style, and New York sense of humor,” WABC program director Laurie Cantillo said in a statement.

Mattera is perhaps best known for his ambush interviews of prominent Washington politicos such as Charlie Rangel; the video takedowns have gone viral and made him an internet legend.

“Growing up in New York, I can’t begin to explain what an honor it is to host a show on the great 77 WABC. I can’t wait to get started,” Mattera said.
