The Pew Project for Excellence in Journalism released its latest study today, which looked at how people navigate the news online.

There’s a ton of information to be discussed, but for now we thought we’d tell you that Yahoo! News Network is the clear winner for online news sites. The networks attracted an average of 94,509 unique visitors per month last year, claiming almost nine percent of monthly web traffic.

CNN, MSNBC, AOL and The New York Times Digital make up the rest of the top five, respectively. The major New York newspapers were also included among top 25 most visited news websites. In addition to the Times,The Wall Street Journal, The New York Daily News and The New York Post were listed.
