76% of Libraries Don’t Have Enough Computers

A new infographic about library technology highlighted a sad fact: 76 percent of libraries do not have enough computers to meet public needs.

AppNewser has all the details: ”OpenSite.org has created an infographic called, “The Future of Libraries,” which imagines what libraries will look like in the future. According to the graphic, there are more than 121,000 libraries in America and 69 percent of Americans use libraries. In addition, the infographic reveals that 67 percent of libraries offer eBooks and 28 percent lend eReading devices.”
