Amazon has launched, “Whispercast for Kindle,” a service that gives schools and businesses access to Kindle tools to distribute digital content using its platform.

Essentially teachers and business owners can share materials and distribute documents using the platform and it will the content will be available on Kindle devices and apps. The tool gives teachers and schools access to millions of Kindle books, including free eBooks which they can distribute to kids through the program.

Amazon Kindle vice president Dave Limp explained in the release. “[It is] a free, scalable solution for school and business administrators to centrally manage thousands of Kindles and wirelessly distribute Kindle books as well as their own documents to their users. Organizations can also design bring-your-own-device programs at school or work using personally-owned Kindles, Kindle Fires, and other tablets using the free Kindle reading applications for receiving content.”
