In a move to get kids reading, Barnes & Noble is giving free eBooks to customers who purchase a Nook Tablet.

Those consumers who buy the company’s tablet eReader in a physical store will get a promo code to download a free collection of eBooks.

AppNewser has more: “The promo is a part of the book retailer’s “Nook Kids Summer Reading Program,” which is designed to keep kids reading throughout the summer. Today through August 5 is for readers aged 12 and up and includes the books: Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz; Angel Burn by L. A. Weatherly; The Enemy by Charlie Higson; and Jessica’s Guide to Dating on the Dark Side by Beth Fantaskey.” The teen eBooks are the second in the series, and a giveaway series for younger children will be later in August.
