Ben Sherwood Will Put Novels on Hold as ABC News President

Our sibling blog TVNewser interviewed incoming ABC News president Ben Sherwood this afternoon. The novelist and TV news producer admitted that he will put his writing on hold while serving in his new post.

Here’s the quote:  “This job will be all consuming and all demanding. I’m going to do this job and only this job. It’s true that I love to write and some day down the line I hope to be lucky enough to sneak in a morning or a weekend where I can write. But this is my one job.”

TVNewser has much more from the new news chief. Sherwood is the author of The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud. You can visit his author page here.
