Big Bang Press on Kickstarter

Morgan Davies, an editor, hopes to raise $40,000 to launch “Big Bang Press.” This small independent publisher will focus on acquiring manuscripts written by fan fiction writers.

Follow this link to read excerpts from some of the books they plan to publish. We’ve embedded a video about the project above. Here’s more from the Kickstarter page:

“We have selected three original novels by fanfiction writers, ranging in genre from Young Adult Fantasy to Literary Fiction…If our project is successfully funded, A Hero At The End Of The World, Juniper Lane, and Savage Creatures are on track to be published starting in the Fall of 2014.”

Welcome to our Kickstarter Publishing Project of the Week, a feature exploring how authors and publishers are using the fundraising site to raise money for book projects. If you want to start your own project, check out How To Use Kickstarter to Fund Your Publishing Project.
