How To Promote a Book on Teacher's Salary
Today's guest on the Morning Media Menu was Danny Kofke, author of the practical, timely book, "How to Survive (and Perhaps Thrive) on a Teacher's Salary." He talked about self-promoting his book during the publishing recession, sharing pitch letter tips along with advice for surviving on a paycheck roughly equivalent to a publishing salary.
Here's more from the interview: "Unless you're on the radio everyday or a celebrity, promoting a book is hard work. I spent hours and hours researching the appropriate people to pitch, trying to find contact information, and writing my pitch letter. To be honest, I never thought it would be as hard as it was to market a book." Email This Post |
