Facebook To Rent Movies; Could It Work For eBooks?

Users can access the content straight through the movie’s Facebook page–could this model work for eBooks as well? The program launched with Batman: The Dark Knightfollow this Facebook link to rent.

The Hollywood Reporter has more details: “The cost per rental is 30 Facebook Credits, or $3. Viewers will have 48 hours from the purchase to watch the movie, which can be viewed full screen and also paused and resumed within that period.”
