J.K. Rowling May Write a ‘Director’s Cut’ Version of Two Harry Potter Books

While promoting A Causal Vacancy, J.K. Rowling revealed a few juicy Harry Potter tidbits.

Deadline reported that Rowling may write another story set in the Harry Potter wizarding world that does not star The Boy Who Lived. She is also pondering a “director’s cut” version of two installments from the Harry Potter series, writing them them with more “finesse.”

Would you read the director’s cut of Harry Potter?

In an interview with BBC News, Rowling explained: “I had to write [some of the Harry Potter books] on the run and there were times when it was really tough. And I read them, and I think ‘Oh God, maybe I’ll go back and do a director’s cut.’ But you know what, I’m proud I was writing under the conditions under which I was writing, no one will ever know how tough it was at times.”

Rowling also revealed that her next publication could be a children’s book.  Fans also wonder when her Harry Potter encyclopedia will come out.
