Kendra Wilkinson Bares Her Memoir on Today Show

The Girls Next Door” star Kendra Wilkinson visited the Today Show this morning, giving a peek into one of the steamier celebrity memoirs to hit the market. The San Diego native just wrote a memoir about catching Hugh Hefner‘s eye and living in his mansion–an experience documented on their reality television show.

Here’s an excerpt from the interview: “[Y]ou’ll see throughout the chapters of the mansion years you’ll see the positive of what I have to talk about about the mansion. you have to read it to find out … I’ve always loved [Hefner], you know what I’m saying? going into it I was very — I was 18 years old, a very free spirit. right when I got there, it’s like I didn’t really know what was going on. so everything was all new to me, glamorous life, here I am a little small — not small town, but”

Jezebel provided a bit of context on the talk show appearance: “Although Kendra spoke openly to Kathie Lee and Hoda about her past drug use and stripping, she made no mention of her recent sex tape scandal. The funniest thing, to me, was how the reality star was billed in Today’s cable description: ‘Author Kendra Wilkinson.’”
