Watch the Kindle Fire in Action

Yesterday, Amazon introduced a touchscreen color tablet to the market called the Kindle Fire. Like the Nook Color, the device is an Android-based tablet that lets users read books, listen to music and watch movies.

At eBookNewser we have posted several videos of the new unit, which ships November 15th. Follow this link to check out our video of Amazon chief Jeff Bezos demonstrating the new tablet at a presentation to the press yesterday. Follow this link to see Amazon’s new commercial for the device.

Follow this link to see Russ Grandinetti, VP of Kindle Content at Amazon, demonstrate how the magazine stand works on the new device. (Notice that the lights from the event hall keep glaring off of the screen, a real departure from Amazon’s attack on the iPad’s reflective screen).
