Lee Goldberg Lands 12-Book Deal
Writer Lee Goldberg has landed a twelve book-deal with Amazon’s Thomas & Mercer imprint.
The mystery-thriller imprint has picked up The Dead Man series; mystery books that Goldberg co-authored with William Rabkin. The titles will be available in both print and digital format. The two writers will be working with editors Terry Goodman and Andy Bartlett.
In an email, Goldberg (pictured, via) revealed: “The five books that we’ve already published — Face of Evil, Ring of Knives, Hell in Heaven, The Dead Woman and The Blood Mesa — will be re-released in the days leading up to Halloween…The sixth book in the series will be released in November and will be followed each month by another new adventure in the continuing saga of Matt Cahill, a man resurrected from the dead to battle evil among us that only he can see.”
In addition to his fiction writing, Goldberg has also established a career in television writing. He has written books inspired by two popular television series, Diagnosis Murder and Monk.

These days, writers aren’t just writers: They’re social-media mavens, seasoned public speakers, and one-person publicity machines. And they still have to find time to write their books!
