Make a Soundtrack to Your Book Using Booktrack

booktrackWant to add music to your eBook? Check out Booktrack, a tool designed for self-published writers and publishers to add soundtracks to their eBooks.

The tool lets you upload a book or write one within their platform. Then you can add music, ambient sounds and effects from Booktrack’s library of free sounds. The collection includes thousands of prerecorded tracks that you can use to layer into your text. You can decide when the track plays for a reader to help set the mood. For example, perhaps Chapter 2 needs to start with the sound of crashing waves as the reader loads the page.

If you’d like to test it out without having to first upload your work, you can play around with public domain texts that are readily available through the platform. Follow this link to see a video for the platform.
