Medallion Press Launches ‘Ya-Ya’ Imprint
Medallion Press has started a new fiction book line called Ya-Ya, focused on “young adults writing for young adults.”
The imprint will focus on authors aged 13-to-18-years-old. The line will publish books representing a variety of fiction genres in both print and eBook format. James Bartholomeusz launched the list with his debut fantasy novel, The White Fox.
Bartholomeusz had this quote: “A lot of young adults have a great imagination, but it can be very intimidating taking the definitive step of writing something down. I’ll have succeeded as a writer if I can inspire young people, particularly from deprived backgrounds, to get involved with creative writing and let loose their imaginations.”
