NaNoWriMo Tip # 8: Get a Literary Butt-Kicking

Do you find yourself checking email or reading Twitter instead of writing your National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) manuscript? Go to the “Get Your Butt-Kicking” thread and receive some tough love from fellow writers.

Check it out: “This is the third annual thread to read when you need to get a good, sound butt-kicking during nano. We come here to really inspire each other to get a move on meeting our writing goals. Sometimes, somebody needs just that tad bit of nudging or pushing or chopping or burning… you know torturing! Being tied up with chains and held over the mouth of a giant troll or maybe a giant acid-spitting Mongolian death worm with only their laptop until they meet their word count type of torturing!”

This is our eighth NaNoWriMo Tip of the Day. As writers around the country join the writing marathon this month, we will share one piece of advice or writing tool to help you cope with this daunting project. Click here for weekly free eBooks from eBookNewser.
