Nice Thing Book Reviews

Growing up in the Midwest, people always reminded me: “You can always say one nice thing” about a meal, a movie, or a novel. I choose the books I read very carefully, and I realized I could say at least one nice thing about every book I read.

So I started posting one nice thing and quote from every book I’ve finished on Goodreads. It’s not a traditional book review or anything fancy–just a literary buoy bobbing in a sea of content.

If you like this idea, I started a Goodreads group to collect these brief and cheerful reviews. Follow the links below to share your reviews–if people like the idea, we could run some of the best Nice Thing Book Reviews on the site.

1- If you liked your last book, write one nice thing about it on Goodreads (or your favorite social networking site)–here’s an example.
2- Add your favorite quote from the book.
3- Join the Nice Thing Book Reviews group to share your reviews.
