Poisoned Pen Press Seeks Submissions for New YA Imprint

Poisoned Pen Press has created The Poisoned Pencil, a new imprint for young adult mysteries. The new YA imprint is looking for manuscripts between 45,000 and 90,000 words.

Follow this link to submit your writing to the new imprint. Jessica Tribble was named publisher of the new imprint and Ellen Larson is the new editor. Since 1997, Poisoned Pen Press has published more than 400 mystery books.

The new imprint seeks “works with off-beat approaches and narrative choices that reflect the complexity and ambiguity of today’s world.” Tribble explained more in the release: “Our goal with The Poisoned Pencil is to publish Young Adult mysteries that are fast-paced and relevant to today’s teens—books that adults will also want to read.”
