In a company-wide memo, Gina Centrello, the president and publisher of Random House Publishing Group, announced the new executive line-up following massive consolidation and lay-offs at Random House.

The restructuring resulted in a few promotions. Former Deputy Publisher of Bantam Dell, Nita Taublib, will now serve as Publisher and Editor in Chief of that house. She will oversee these imprints: Bantam, Dell, Delacorte, Delta--all while editing Danielle Steel and Luanne Rice. The restructuring also advanced Scott Shannon to Publisher for the Del Rey and Spectra imprints.

A number of executives also stayed at their posts. Libby McGuire will continue to serve as Publisher at Ballantine Books. Her work will include: Ballantine hardcover and mass-market imprints, Ballantine, Villard, Del Rey, One World, ESPN Books, and Presidio. Both Cindy Spiegel and Julie Grau will continue to helm the Spiegel & Grau imprint.
