Reading a Good Book at 75 Miles Per Hour

Over four years ago, YouTube users posted the video embedded above–a clip of a man reading a book while driving 75 miles per hour on a California highway.

The strangely compelling video has since logged more than 300,000 views. We’d love to know what book kept this person reading while driving. What was the last book you couldn’t put down?

More importantly, we would like suggest readers add the word “books” to Oprah Winfrey‘s recent No Phone Zone Pledge: “I pledge to make my car a No Phone Zone. Beginning right now, I will do my part to help put an end to distracted driving by committing to drive as responsibly as I can.”
