The interactive site features free online access to all of Red Lemonade’s published books and allows community members to comment and post their own writing. eBookNewser explored the site yesterday.

Here’s an excerpt: “As a writer, you can upload your works in progress and get feedback from readers there, just like the published authors at Red Lemonade get response and feedback … it will help us decide what books we will publish next. The community is our only source of books to publish.”
Nash added: “Everything we publish will have to flow through the community. In the end, the community is the publisher. The community is the one hustling word-of-mouth for the books. So I, as the editor, exist to help the community express itself.”
He concluded: “Cursor is the platform, Red Lemonade is just the first publisher to use that platform. If Red Lemonade isn’t quite your style, we want Cursor to be a platform that can be used by people to start their own publishers or start their own author collectives. What I want Cursor to do is the engine that powers the new writing and reading economy.”
