Steampunk Sherlock Holmes On Kickstarter

Interactive book maker Richard Monson-Haefel hopes to raise $29,000 to turn his eBook Steampunk Holmes: Legacy of the Nautilus into an interactive experience.

AppNewser has more: “With stolen submarines and the British Secret Service, the story is ripe with intrigue. It is currently available as an eBook, but Monson-Haefel plans to turn it into an interactive web app, iPad app and even an illustrated print book.”

To execute these editions, Monson-Haefel and his company Noble Beast plan to work with an international group of artists, musicians and actors. Here is more from the project’s Kickstarter page: “Steampunk Holmes: Legacy of the Nautilus is multi-channel publishing project for the Web, eReaders (kindle, Sony, iBooks), audio players, tablets, and print. In other words, a complete editions of the books are going to be released on several different reading platforms so that everyone, no matter how they read, can enjoy the series.”
