Take the Random Cliche Test: NaNoWriMo Tip #15

As you work on your National Novel Writing Month manuscript, you should periodically check the Random Cliche machine.

The handy tool will display 10 cliches picked from a database of 3,300 overused expressions, helping you recognize the old phrases you repeat in your work. The feature is one part of S. Morgan Friedman’s excellent Cliche Finder site.

This is our fifteenth NaNoWriMo Tip of the Day. As writers around the country join the writing marathon this month, we will share one piece of advice or writing tool to help you cope with this daunting project.
