Moby Dick Hits the Smallest Screen
The bitty phone might seem awkward compared to a full-sized book, but users are starting to play with the Stanza application--a reader loaded with thousands of free books. Currently, Moby Dick and The Prince are the most popular downloads, helping people complete the classic reading they never finished in high school. The good folks at TeleRead have a complete analysis, comparing Apple's digital book applications: "Within five minutes, I had a bigger font, lower backlight and the option to tap instead of swipe to turn pages. The program was not overburdened with too many options, but it had what I needed to get up and running on the fly." The question is, how many people are reading books on the iPhone? If you are, email us to participate in an upcoming feature. Email This Post |
