Meet Your Deadline with Kittens

As you toil away at your manuscript, you will need more love and support than usual during your solitary quest. Basically, you need some kitten support.

The free Written? Kitten! tool gives you a blank page where you can type online. Every time you cross a milestone (100, 200, 500 and 1000-word settings are available), you are rewarded with a warm fuzzy kitten picture.

Here’s more from the site: “Written Kitten was created by , and . We like positive reinforcement, so we decided to make something a bit like writeordie but cuter and fuzzier. Images are randomly selected from Flickr’s ‘most interesting’ photos matching the tags ‘kitten’ and ‘cute.’ Enjoy!”

This is our eighteenth NaNoWriMo Tip of the Day. As writers around the country join the writing marathon this month, we will share one piece of advice or writing tool to help you cope with this daunting project. (Link via Reddit; photo via PCB75)
