Writer Tops Childhood Dream Job List

“Writer, journalist or novelist” was the third most popular childhood dream job among women in the United States, according to LinkedIn.

LinkedIn released an infographic mapping childhood dream jobs around the world. We’ve embedded part of the chart above, but you can see the whole infographic at at SocialTimes. Check it out:

For the United States, the professional social network identified dream jobs for boys and girls. There was zero overlap between the two. All but one of the most popular dream jobs in the world in the sciences: engineer, pilot, doctor or nurse, scientist and teacher. Teacher was the most popular dream job in the U.S., but also the only one of the most coveted jobs to appear on the girls’ wish list.
