Job Requirements Requirements for this position include approximately 5-10 years directly applicable experience with a public relations or marketing agency, demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of media planning; and a strong familiarity with online marketing best practices.

About Our Company We are conducting a retained search for a well-established, Boston based boutique Public Relations agency that services regional and national corporations operating at the intersection of public policy and business. The agency's culture is positive, collaborative, dynamic and nurturing to both clients and staff; its work is strategic, creative and measurable. The organization is looking for a Director of Digital Communications to head up that group. Responsible for developing and overseeing the strategy and execution of all social media and digital initiatives, projects will include viral marketing campaigns, high profile channel accounts, search engine optimization/search engine marketing integration, monitoring and analysis of social media trends and their impact on the company and clients' brands, website management across multiple accounts

The Director will be expected to work across social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, foursquare, YouTube, Google and Tumblr, producing content that can tell a client's story in times of crisis or produce a conversation strategy that creates measurable brand identity increases, and develop strategies for listening online. Project and staff management skills, an understanding of HTML, CSS and wireframing also desired. In short, integrating interactive media into the overall business strategy for the agency's clients and growing the business will be the department's mission under the director.
