Responsibilities



* Conceive, write, produce and edit on-air commercial/promotional spots and marketing campaigns for Telemundo Denver, special events and digital properties

* Coordinates various aspects of production such as audio work, scenes, music, timing, and camera work

* Obtains costumes, props, music, or other equipment or personnel to complete production

* Assists in operation and maintenance of lights, audio and video control equipment, microphones, and cameras

* Regularly and effectively communicates status of production requests to Master Control and Sales Specialist

* Checks commercial instruction log to ascertain commercial to be recorded or program to be aired.

* Monitors on-air programs from time to time to ensure technical quality of broadcast

* Video and Photographer for all local events

* Partner with the sales and news departments to create promotions such as topical, PSAs, image, and franchise campaigns to execute the strategic goals of the station

* Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget

* Attend weekly planning/production/sales meetings



Qualifications/Requirements

* Minimum 3 years of on-air promotion experience as a writer/producer/editor for a cable network or local station

* Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Aftereffects, Photoshop, Audition) and Cinema 4D

* Strong knowledge of television production procedures and news operations

* Knowledge of promo editorial process from beginning to end

* Bachelor Degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience

* Fluent (written, oral) in English/Spanish

* Possess excellent communication, organization and time management skills Eligibility Requirements:
