Job Requirements
Access Intelligence's Event Marketer magazine portfolio is looking for a marketing manager to help activate our magazines, conferences, web sites and ancillary products.
Day to day tasks include:
Executing marketing campaigns and programs across online, print and other platforms.
Managing marketing processes across social media and microsites.
Project-managing creative and design aspects of marketing.
Co-developing strategy and campaign plans with the Marketing Director.
Copy writing and deploying marketing emails.
Copy writing and overseeing the creative development of print ads and direct mail pieces.
Tracking and reporting on email campaign results.
Project managing look and feel and content development of microsites and banner ads.
Working directly with sales staff to develop deliverables like whitepapers and newsletters.
Collaborating with sales and editorial staff on developing sales collateral and media kits.
Coordinating and managing event app development, including all design and content elements, with outside vendors.
Executing webinar planning and production with editorial staff and outside vendors.
Developing awards presentations.
Tracking campaign performance and making recommendations based on results.
Coordinating social media content with Marketing Director and editorial staff.
The right candidate will:
Have astute direct marketing, copy writing and proofreading skills.
Be skilled in print, digital and e-mail marketing and search engine optimization.
Have previous experience in events.
Understand social media marketing best practices.
Be comfortable working with databases.
Possess the ability to work within various portals.
Have the ability to work independently and multi-task numerous projects simultaneously.
Have experience with print quotes and production processes.
Be a creative thinker looking for new ways to drive more revenue, build brand awareness and launch new products/programs.
Have a can-do attitude.
Be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Have strong customer service and vendor management skills.
Thrive in a fun, challenging and fast-paced work environment.
Requirements:
College degree in marketing, business or related field and 3-5 years of experience in marketing. Business-to-business marketing experience also preferred. Must have a willingness to travel. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Analytics. Experience in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator a plus.
