Job Requirements
Modern Healthcare is looking for a Custom Content Writer/Producer that will be expected to lead custom content related business initiatives for Modern Healthcare from inception/creation to delivery. Position requires excellent communication and project management skills. Additionally, the candidate must be able to work on a variety of projects simultaneously and adhere to multiple deadlines; develop client relationships as well as team relationships. This Custom Content Writer/Producer must be innovative and creative in their approach and thrive in a fast-pace environment that is constantly evolving to fit the changing media landscape.
Responsibilities:
• Write, edit and proofread materials including whitepapers, thought leadership articles, case studies, web copy, blog postings, social media content and other communications on behalf of Modern Healthcare clients
• Identify, develop and execute thought leadership strategies and tactics on behalf of Modern Healthcare clients
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis
• Demonstrate knowledge and effectively utilize social media tactics
• Strong presentation skills including the ability to moderate webinars and serve as on-camera expert/talent
• Understanding of tracking and reporting of client related success metrics including leads generated, web traffic, content sharing, registrations, etc.
• Provide client service administration support; attend meetings and assist with other project management
• Participate in new business process including research and proposal preparation in partnership with Modern Healthcare Account Executives
•Minimum of 2 - 5 years of content development experience
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related concentration)
•Knowledge of the healthcare and/or publishing industry. Agency experience, a plus.
•Strong understanding of the print and digital ecosystem (e.g. social, mobile, ad tech and video)
•Organized, detail-oriented multi-tasker who thrives in fast paced environment and has the ability to meet to meet deadlines and work independently as well as with a team to service a variety of clients
•Ability to travel to develop content and/or meet with clients
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office
•Must have a strong work ethic, a can-do attitude and be dedicated to consistently providing quality work
Must provide digital portfolio or links to representative work.
