Cambridge University Press, a leader in academic publishing, seeks a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our ELT department. The main responsibilities of this role will be to articulate the needs of the market and lead customer focus as an authoritative voice for selected segments, products and geographical territories.
The successful candidate will be expected to research and define market segments/sizing, customer personas and scenarios and also bring expert commercially-oriented knowledge to new product development and collaborate closely in high-performance brand management teams. This position will also prepare, manage and deliver marketing plans for a portfolio of products and drive globally integrated (digital and traditional) marketing as well as travel, present to customers and train staff and rep force on new products.
Candidates should possess at least 5 years’ experience in publishing sales and/or marketing, preferably in ELT or modern languages, and experience with the education systems of Mexico and Brazil is a plus. Candidates should have an understanding of social media marketing and market development. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and public presentation skills. Foreign language skills are desirable in one or more languages of our key markets: Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese and Korean.
