Job Requirements
Senior Account Director serves as the primary client contact for existing accounts, working closely with clients to determine their overall business needs and objectives. The Senior Account Director works with internal Agency departments to bring integrated ideas and solutions to the table and continuously raises the bar with creative and innovative thinking.
Duties:
• Developing strong relationships with Senior Marketing clients and delivering business-building ideas to them on a regular basis.
• Leading annual planning and in-year tactical planning.
• Lead all client communications and compliance in regards to client deliverables.
• Thorough knowledge of the dynamics of digital and interactive. How each digital and interactive element performs alone, how they perform together and how they are constantly changing
• Ability to use alternative analytical approaches to solve digital/interactive/marketing problems
• Fostering and strengthening all client relationships for existing accounts as well as serving as counsel to the client on best practices in all areas of marketing. Has an in-depth understanding of 360 marketing plans and strategies and all related disciplines with specific expertise in the interactive space.
• Overseeing multiple accounts and leads, guides the development of overall client objectives, and the ongoing strategic direction of the account.
• Maintaining client satisfaction, and retain and grow their assigned accounts whenever possible.
• Providing valuable insights and analysis around campaign performance.
• Working collaboratively and in partnership with internal and external agency partners.
• Manage, lead, and develop junior members of the Account Management Team including Assistant Account Executives, Account Executives, Account Supervisors and Account Directors. Senior Account Director is responsible for managing team member performance, including performance reviews and administering corrective action.
• Preserve and foster WI’s Culture and maintain a positive and forward thinking attitude.
Skills/Qualifications:
• BA or BS degree in Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
• 10+ years of advertising agency experience; 5+ years of experience within Digital landscape with experience managing interactive projects and experience with CPG’s.
• Experience with various projects types, including web, mobile, video, brand, and strategic consulting.
• Experience writing marketing plans on behalf of clients.
• Experience with contributing to new business efforts and developing integrated business solutions.
• Ability to effectively forecast and allocate resources based on current and future workload.
• Must have the ability to manage multiple client accounts, team members and deal with conflict fairly and swiftly.
