Job Requirements In this newly-created role, you will report to the VP, National Sales and your mission will be to leverage your 12+ years’ combined digital and TV sales experience to scale the largest Addressable TV ad product in the industry. With your deep and longstanding TV industry relationships – both client side and agency side – you will be responsible for growing our traditional advertising business and take a leadership role in moving our Addressable and Digital businesses forward by successfully partnering with national brand clients and their agencies to create strategies that position DIRECTV as a long-term partner and our solutions as media plan must-haves. Based in our New York office, and supported by our in-house analytics team and external data partner, you’ll deliver C-suite-level presentations that demonstrate both your deep understanding of each client’s business and our compelling value proposition. You will additionally act as a manager and mentor to a team of 12 + Account Executives as they endeavor to fundamentally change the way TV advertising is planned and executed from an awareness vehicle to a precision targeted product.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 12+ years of sales experience, preferably a mix of traditional (national cable) and digital sales
• 5+ years of sales management experience, preferably of traditional (national cable) and digital sales
• Deep experience solution selling directly to clients with ability to listen, converse and create solutions at the c-suite level
• Ability to translate data and insights to help drive revenue
• Significant client-side contacts and high-level agency contacts
• Ability to be strategic, create opportunities, and drive incremental revenue by executing against sales strategies
• Ability to motivate, organize, and train sales staff
• Ability to hire well and upgrade talent
• Willing to travel consistently (25%)
• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
