Job Requirements In this newly-created role, you will report to the VP, National Sales and your mission will be to leverage your 8+ years’ combined sales experience (TV, Digital, Data, Tech or Consulting) to expand our Traditional ad business and scale the largest Addressable TV ad product in the industry. Based in our El Segundo headquarters, you will utilize your consultative sales approach to work with C-suite clients and their agencies and position DIRECTV as a long-term strategic partner whose advanced targeting methodologies predictably and reliably deliver the industry’s best ROI. As a member of a Fortune 115 company with innovation in its DNA, and supported by our internal analytics team and an external data partner, you will be responsible for fundamentally changing the way TV advertising is planned and executed from an awareness vehicle to a precision targeted product.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 8+ years of sales experience, preferably with an emerging product that required client-side selling. Could be from a mix of national cable, digital, data, tech, or consulting sales.
• Must be willing / able to travel consistently (50%)
• Ability to listen, converse, and create solutions at the C-suite level
• Deep experience solutions selling directly to clients
• Ability to translate data and insights to help drive revenue
• Significant client-side contacts, high-level agency contacts with a skew towards strategic planners
• Strategic thinker
• Strong work ethic
• Personable
• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
