We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our West Coast offices.
The responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager include:
- Establishing/maintaining relationships with office leads and employees - must be a trusted, knowledgeable, go-to resource.
- Mullen/Los Angeles and Mullen/San Francisco employee relations include identifying emerging people/problems/issues, acting as a sounding board for both employees and managers, employee orientations, and probation and terminations.
- New employee onboarding.
- Leads career development process, including review, coaching, management, and tracking and maintaining files.
- Works with HR Director on training initiatives.
- Works closely with office leaders on everyday issues and new projects.
- Works in tandem with Mullen's HR Group in developing special projects and SOX guidelines.
-Diversity initiatives, in coordination with the agency's Affirmative Action Plan and Diversity Council (includes any outbound marketing efforts).
- Assists with terminations.
- Relocation coordination.
- Maintains personnel files.
- Assists Recruitment Manager in final negotiations if necessary.
- Leads/maintains Disaster Recovery Program.
- Main source for reporting personnel changes.
Four-year degree is required.
5-7 years working in Human Resources, with a Generalist focus. Experience working in an ad agency is a plus.
Expert in California Employment Law.
Proficiency in Word/Excel/Powerpoint.
Experience with Affirmative Action a plus.
Ability to work independently in a fast paced, often stressful environment.
Must be willing to travel (approx. 20%)
