Covestor seeks an experienced investing writer to join our content team on a full-time or part-time basis, in our Boston office. The position reports to our Head of Editorial.
The role:
- Produce unique and compelling blog posts that focus on the topical concerns of mass affluent and high net worth investors
- Produce longer-form thematic content on investing topics
- Solicit content and conduct engaging interviews with our portfolio managers
- Work with our compliance officer on all content in an efficient manner
Experience required:
- Significant experience as a staff journalist or freelancer on investing and personal finance topics
- Significant personal experience with web publishing, content management systems and blogging
- Active consumer of online financial/market news and views
- A professional and academic record reflecting a love of language and editorial achievement
To succeed, you’ll need:
- Very strong organizational, editorial and communication skills
- Knowledge and passion for investing and financial markets
- A strong editorial understanding of web publishing and blogging protocols
- Creative flair and willingness to experiment; flexibility amid changes in product direction
- Efficient web worker chops
- Patience with others joined with the ability to get things done collectively in a startup environment
