Amazon's Digital Services division (makers of Amazon Kindle) is seeking a star Technical Program Manager for Digital Platform (Digital charge, subscriptions, vendor payments, etc.) roadmap and dependency management. This role also includes the production infrastructure management for the larger Amazon Digital organization. We expect the candidate will spend time managing the challenges that a platform handling millions of transactions per week generates and on a quarterly basis with hardware demand management tasks. There will be a greater initial time investment to put appropriate structure and tools in place for managing hardware capacity. This role requires working with business owners, product managers, engineering and other technical teams across the organization to define requirements, identify dependencies and manage timelines. At the core of the position is excellence in planning and execution. You'll be passionate about making sure hardware provisioning achieves its operational goals.

Responsibilities:
Manage multiple competing cross-functional projects/programs simultaneously, some on a global scale.
Interact with engineers, project managers, product managers, finance professionals and senior management on a daily basis
Run meetings, create and maintain timelines, and keep large, diverse groups informed of progress and obstacles.
Digital production infrastructure demand, provisioning, forecasting, capacity planning, and schedule management within the aegis of overall Amazon production infrastructure.

BS or MS degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in an IT-related field.
5 to 7+ years of relevant work experience in internet-related technical program and/or technical product management and experience with system architecture and design.
