The Wall Street Journal seeks an experienced journalist to cover the business and economics of agriculture in its Chicago Bureau. We're seeking a newshound who's eager to write often and has a proven record of delivering scoops of fact and insight. The position also requires a yearning to discover and explain new ways in which the business of growing food intersects with the broader economy, policy making, and consumer habits. This position is part of a team that also covers agricultural commodities markets and other aspects of agri-business, so it requires a person who is agile, adaptable, and able to work effectively with others. Minimum of five years experience required.
