We are seeking super motivated, progressive team players to join our agency in Virginia Beach. We have a superb, creative and highly strategic Media team, and this is a great opportunity to put your knowledge and passion for media into action - and to continue to learn as the industry, and we, evolve. Responsibilities include:
- Direct development and execution of media planning, buying and performance analysis for traditional as well as digital, ambient and out-of-the-box media.
- Plan and buy for multiple travel and hospitality accounts based on client goals and budgets.
- Maintenance of accounts, i.e. budgets, added value, invoices, etc.
- Presentation of media plans to clients.
- Contribution and presentation in new business pitches.
- Continuous learning of the latest/evolving media platforms to share with internal staff and clients, via research.
- Maintain positive, productive relationships via a consultative orientation.
- Maintain positive, production relationships with the media sales community.
- Day-to-day administrative operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Media Studies, Advertising Communications, Marketing or a similar area of study.
- 3-8 years media planning/buying experience.
- Excellent, thorough knowledge of traditional and new media platforms.
- Experience in planning/buying beyond traditional media to include in-depth interactive (display, SEM, mobile, social) tactics and also ambient media and guerilla marketing tactics.
- Strong organization, communication and writing skills.
- Desire and ability to handle multiple assignments.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office, primarily Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Preferred knowledge of SmartPlus & MRI.
- Big Plus if you have Travel & Tourism client experience.
