Job Requirements The Media Director will report to and work closely with the global Connector Community Leader to scale paid media integration in the region, and will regularly interact with key account leaders and agency senior leadership throughout North America, delivering creative media solutions to complex communications challenges.


Responsibilities:

- Develop strategic paid media plans, oversee execution, and measure the impact of paid components of integrated campaigns, working closely with Connectors, Creators, Strategists and external agency partners. Particular emphasis on digital formats including search, social, display and mobile, though plans should also leverage direct, out of home, trade, print and/or broadcast channels for maximum impact.

- Contribute to paid media department expansion plans, including process optimization, resourcing, and integration with North American offices and all four G4 communities

- Champion paid media business development in the region, supporting key new business and existing client planning activities

- Create and deliver training to GH staffers and clients pertaining to paid media trends and opportunities, mechanics of planning, buying and execution, and integration of paid strategies alongside earned and owned activities

- Infuse and standardize innovative real-time planning and buying techniques into the Bridge, our global network of real-time engagement centers operating in 13 regions of the world

- Manage and mentor growing team of media professionals

- Provide thought leadership with key clients and in industry circles, particularly around topics of media integration, paid media and public relations, multi-channel marketing, and measurement

- Assist in analysis of research to understand target audiences, develop strategies and tactics



Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree

- 6+ years related experience with diverse media planning and buying experience preferred including search, display, social, mobile, direct, OOH, trade, print and broadcast channels

- Demonstrated understanding of audience targeting and ad inventory research tools; Proven quantitative and analytical skills

- Ability to think critically, prioritize, multitask, work successfully with diverse teams, and work under pressure

- Polished writing, presentation and public speaking skills

- Self-starter, with demonstrated ability to build and mentor a cohesive team
