Job Requirements PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
Work closely with Media Studio Manager, Media Studio staff & contractors, and client to develop and implement creative media solutions and production systems in support of a major corporate Creative Studio. Manage a team of multi-location video production, webcast and photography professionals. Serve as on-site representative ensuring that contractual responsibilities are met.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Manage staff of fulltime and freelance creative and technical production personnel; create and conduct yearly performance reviews; develop individual performance goals that support the overall objectives of the client
• Engage as a creative leader for the Media Studio group
• Proactively build relationships with stakeholders to facilitate efficient communications and to promote the capabilities of the group
• Partner with Associate Director, Media Studio to engage with internal clients and develop project scopes
• Assess and refine of Media team operational practices
• Provide plan to restructure organization and SOPs to meet changing business needs
• Prepare Media group metrics and present to upper management
• Introduce new process and procedures where and when appropriate
• Provide reporting and documentation required by contract terms and agreement
• Manage and track edit schedules, audio and studio schedule, remote location shoots, live events, webcast productions and photography projects
• Provide analytical support to monitor the overall performance of the contract
• Help research and test new options for production operational support. Develop recommendations and conclusions from information gathered, and present findings in client meetings.
• Troubleshoot and realign problematic assignments that have gone off track
• Understand, embrace, and communicate the mission of client to staff and contractors
• Identify, recruit and hire or engage appropriate talent for the team
• Partner with peers in other functional areas on multifunctional campaigns
• Ensure team understanding of and compliance with all corporate mandated policies, guidelines and procedures

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
• Command of modern digital video production, webcast, and still photography equipment and processes
• Ability to give creative direction
• Energy, enthusiasm and initiative
• Customer service orientation; professional presence and superior client relationship skills
• Ability to work effectively with senior management and production colleagues in a corporate environment
• Ability to powerfully coach and mentor direct reports as well as other team members and be able to effectively partner with client colleagues.
• Fully capable of accurate time and resource budgeting, assigning effective and efficient resources for various project types
• Ability to switch from one project to another quickly and effectively; ability to quickly prioritize and reorganize events, projects and resources
• Ability to prepare cost-effective production and event budgets and apply creative solutions
• Ability to manage and resolve conflict quickly and effectively with solutions-oriented approach
• Technology familiarity with video camera and edit platforms, file formats, webcast technology, videoconferencing, satellite broadcasts, digital signage, tablet & app development, and still photography.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office including Outlook and Excel
• Familiarity with various production and accounting software desired
• Must have a commitment to excellence and to ongoing education in video production and to the mastery of their craft

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in Design, Video/Film Production, Communications, Business or related field is expected
• Leadership initiative and direct supervisory experience
• 8 – 10 years’ experience in corporate, agency, or broadcast creative team management
