Job Requirements Mediabistro is looking for a dynamic, spirited instructor to teach our User Experience Design class online starting this October. This class meets for 4 weeks and show students how to create well-designed, engaging websites and digital products. They will learn how to apply the principles of user experience to increase engagement and turn visitors into loyal users and customers.

Topics covered include how to improve the usability of products and services, conduct user research to understand what your customers want, test and implement changes to a site or product, identify key performance indicators to meet business objectives and increase return on investment, and audit a website and think from the perspective of the user.

By the end of class students will have a strategic plan to improve the usability of a website or digital product, and a firm understanding of best practices for user experience. No previous teaching experience required.

Classes run several times throughout the year, so there is an opportunity for continuous teaching.
